Margot said I needed to update more, so…
It was my 20th birthday the weekend before last and the family plus Troy came up to visit so we could eat an obscene amount of sushi and watch Paranormal Activity, which we all agreed was a pathetic excuse for a horror film. I had a very enjoyable time overall and since then, I’ve been playing The Legendary Starfy on my Nintendo DS and reading The Year of the Flood by Margaret Atwood. They were both gifts so it feels like my birthday has lasted two weeks now. Thanks, guys!
In other news, I’ve come to the conclusion that I just don’t get along with loud people. That, and people who foist their personal problems on everyone else, although I’m guilty of doing that sometimes. I feel that learning comes to those who just sit down and shut up. I remember very obviously moving to the other end of a lecture hall last term during my Human Genome class because some obnoxious guy sitting next to me had the audacity to watch Youtube videos and discuss the finer points of the website’s front page with his friends rather than listen to the the professor go over the intricate details of cell replication… or some shit (that class was hard, okay?!). Gah! Just last week, I had to move to a different seat in the same lecture hall because a girl was using her laptop to instant message people during a film screening! Do not test my patience! It’s always the quiet ones who snap!

Even the file name was “whothehellknows.png.”
It definitely makes me miss my Wacom tablet /snort
